NOTICE OF HEARING ON <br />PROPOSED ASSESSMENT <br />STREVP 111D'ORVEPUNTS - <br />FIRST STREET AND IMMAN[J1�IC, <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN; Notice is hereby given that the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo, will meet at the Lake Elmo Elementary School, in the City of <br />Laake Elmo, Minnesota, to conduct a hearing at 7:00 o'clock p.m, on Tuesday, July 31, <br />1979, to consider the proposed assessment for the following street improvements: <br />The improvement of .First Street and Immanuel Avenue by grading, <br />installation of gravel base, bituminous surface and bituminous curb <br />and a short section of storm sewer to carry run-off to the low area <br />North of the Ease end of First Street. <br />The total cost of said improvements is $22906.04. <br />AREA PROPOS, TO DE ASSESSED: Ube area proposed to be assessed for such im- <br />provements is every lot, piece or parcel of land within the City abutting the streets <br />on which said improvements are located® based on benefits received, without retard <br />to cash valuation. <br />The proposed assessment roll is on file for public inspection in the office <br />of the City Clerk. <br />A0111ORITY: The Coimoil proposes to proceed under the authority (wanted by <br />Chapter 429 Minnesota Statutes. <br />Such persons as desire to be heard with reference to the proposed assessment <br />will be heard at this meeting. <br />Written or oral objections will be considered at the hearing. <br />An owner may appeal an assessment to the District Court pursuant to Minnesota <br />Statues Section 429.081 by serving Notice of Appeal on the Mayor or Clerk of the <br />municipality within twenty (20) days after the adoption of the assessment and filing <br />such notice with the District Court within ten (10) days after service upon the <br />1'iayor or Clerk. <br />Dated: .July 5, 1979 <br />3Y ORD113Z OF THE CITY COUNCIL <br />Laurence E.
