MINUTES, LA199 ELMO CITY COUNCIL, JANUARY 159 1980 <br />Page 5 <br />CONSERVENCY REGULATIONS: Mottaz moved, seconded by Armstrong, to reconsider the <br />previous motion. Motion carried !4-1. Morgan voting nay. Morgan <br />does not feel the cost of all these studies is returned as a benefit <br />to the City, The Council discussed the alternative further. <br />Pott moved, seconded by Morgan, to table a, decision. Motion carried 5-0. <br />The Council instruoted the Administrator to review the ordinances of <br />surrounding communities on conservancy and put this item on agenda for <br />the first meeting in February. <br />CITY EMBLEM/LOGO: The price of the film applioations is S5,46 each in lots of 50, <br />Morgan moved, seconded by Armstrong, to approve the cost of the City 11mblem <br />deaoal. Discussion: Pott recommended the City check with the County on <br />price, as they do this type of work. <br />Motion amended to include "approve the cost of the City Emblem decals, <br />unless the County can reproduce them at a lesser cost; Motion carried 5-0. <br />PLANNING 00I41.I:SSION AND WATEI? SURFACE USE CORM..TTEE APPOINTMENTS; Bud Taloott is <br />the only applicant for the Planning Commission. Presently there are <br />three openings. <br />The Water Surface Use has five people interested the non-resident <br />positions. They are Ann Bueoheck, Betsy Hald.ron, Bruce :Dunn, Sue Marten <br />and Steve Chlebeck. <br />Mottaz moved, seconded by Armstrong, to appoint the following residents <br />-to the Water Surface Use Committee: Steve Chlebeck, Brace Dunn, and <br />Suo Marten. Motion carried 5-0. <br />Bud Taloott will. be interviewed by the Council at the February 5 meeting. <br />Pott moved, seconded by Morgan, to table Olinger Pill and Cable TV. <br />Motion carried 5-0, <br />JANUARY 22, 1980 AGENDA - ALL DAY COUNCIL MEETING: The Administrator requested <br />Council members who have not submitted suggestions should do so before <br />Friday. <br />MISCELLANEOUS: LeaAue Le islative 6onference.
