I <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION OF COMMENDATION FOR WORK IN THE CITY PARKS <br />WHEREAS, THE STILLWATER-LAKE ELI-10 CAMPFIRE group <br />cleaned up Sunfish Lake Park and planted a tree and donated <br />$100.00 to the City of Lake Elmo for a picnic table for the <br />parks; and, <br />WHEREAS, LAKE ELMO CUB SCOUT PACK #162 cleaned up <br />Pebble Park; and, <br />WHEREAS, THE VALLEY SHAMROCKS 4H CLUB planted 300 trees <br />in Sunfish Lake Park; and, <br />WHEREAS, THE GO-GETTERS 4H CLUB planted 2000 trees in <br />Sunfish Park; and <br />WHEREAS, these activities greatly enhance the City's <br />park system and considerably reduce the cost of improvement <br />and maintenance of the parks; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br />THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO THAT: <br />LAKE ELMO CUB SCOUT PACK f162, <br />STILLWATER-LAKE ELMO CAMPFIRE, <br />VALLEY SHAMROCKS 4H CLUB, AND <br />GO-GETTERS 4H CLUB <br />are commended for their service to the City of Lake Elmo and <br />its residents; and, <br />Said groups are thanked for their community spirit and their <br />effort in improving and maintaining the parks of the City. <br />ADOPTED, this the 6th day of May, 1980, by the City <br />Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota <br />S GNP E <br />Thomas G.
