R-80-51 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION COMMENDING THE TRI-LAKES ASSOCIATION <br />ON ITS 25TH ANNIVERSARY AND FOR ITS OUTSTANDING <br />SERVICE TO THE COMMUNITY <br />WHEREAS, it is the 25th Anniversary of the founding of <br />the Tri-Lakes Association; and, <br />WHEREAS, The Tri-Lakes Association has provided great <br />service to the community by: <br />A. informing its residents through the Birchbark, <br />B. protecting residents with well and lake testing <br />programs, <br />C. assisting the City's policy process by studying <br />'City problems and participating in decision making, <br />and, <br />D. serving as a liaison between the City and the Tri- <br />Lakes area; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Tri-Lakes Association has fostered community <br />spirit, a sense of identity, and a forum for discussion of community <br />issues; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of <br />the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota that: <br />The Tri-Lakes Association is congratulated on achieving <br />its 25th Anniversary; and, that: <br />The Tri Lakes Association is commended for its outstanding <br />service to the City of Lake Elmo. <br />ADOPTED, this the 5th day of August, 1980, by the City <br />Council,of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, <br />by unanimous vote. <br />SIGNED: <br />Thomas G.
