RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, M:INNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION VACATING EAST SHORE LANE IN LANE'S <br />DEMONTREVILLE COUNTRY CLUB ADDITION. <br />WHEREAS, at a regular meeting of the City Council of <br />the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota, held on <br />January 2, 1980, a Petition was presented to the City Council <br />praying for the vacation of a certain public street in the <br />plat of Lane's Demontreville Country Club Addition described <br />as follows: <br />East Shore Lane lying between Lots 480 and 482 <br />and lying between Lots 655 and 657 reserving; <br />however, the drainage easement over and across <br />the same property which was previously deeded <br />t separately to the City; <br />WHEREAS, said Petition came on for hearing before said <br />City Council at a regular meeting thereof held <br />on Wednesday, January 2, 1980 at 8:00 p.m. in the City Hall <br />pursuant to Notice thereof published and posted as required <br />by law; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed this Petition <br />with concern for the interests of the public; and <br />WHEREAS, East Shore Lane proposed for vacation has <br />never been opened or used for a public street and it is <br />improbable that there will ever be any public need for said <br />street; moreover, by vacating the same, the property will be <br />returned to the tax rolls and would enhance the taxable value <br />of all the lands abutting thereon or affected thereby; and <br />WHEREAS, for the foregoing reasons, it appears to be in , <br />the public interest to vacate East Shore Lane as described above; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that East Shore Lane <br />as dedicated in the plat of Lane's Demontreville Country Club <br />
