R-81-6 RESOLUTION CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION DECLARING COSTS TO BE ASSESSED, ORDERING PREPARATION OF THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENT ROLL AND ORDERING THE PUBLIC HEARING ON THE PROPOSED ASSESSMENTS FOR THE BEUTEL POND DRAINAGE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT. WHEREAS, the City has completed the Beutel Pond Drainage Improvement'Project at a total cost of $10,362.76; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of hake Elmo as follows: 1. The cost of such improvement to be specially assessed is hereby declared to be $10,362.76. 2. The City Administrator, with the assistance of the City Engineer, shall forthwith calculate the proper amount to be specially assessed for such improvement against every assessable lot, piece or parcel of land within the district affected, without regard to cash valuation, as provided by law, and he shall file a copy of such proposed assessment in his office for public inspection. 3. A hearing shall be held on the loth day of March, 1981, in the City Hall at 8:00 p.m. to pass upon such proposed assessments and at such time and place all persons owning property affected by such improvements will be given an oppor- tunity to be heard with reference to such assessment. 4. The City Administrator is directed to cause a Notice of the hearing on the proposed assessment to be published once in the official newspaper at least two weeks prior to the hearing, and shall shall state in the Notice the total cost of the improvement. He shall also cause mailed notice to be given to the owner of each parcel described in the assessment roll not less than two (2) weeks prior to the hearing.
