R-81-26 <br />EXTRACT' OF MINUTES OF 'MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKE E:LMO, MINNE:SOTA <br />HELD: APRIL 7, 1981 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a --.regular <br />meeting of the City Council of •the City of Lake Elmo, <br />Washington County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in <br />said City on the 7th day of April, 1981, at a._Oa o'clock <br />P M. for the purpose of awarding the sale of $125,000 General <br />Obligation Equipment Certificates of 1.981 of said City. <br />The following members were present: <br />Eder, Novak, Mottaz, Fraser and Morgan <br />and the following were absent: <br />None <br />Member Mottaz _ introduced the following <br />resolution and moved its adoption <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE <br />ISSUANCE AND SALE OF <br />$125,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION EQUIPMENT CERTIFICATES <br />OF 1981 AND LEVYING A TAX FOR THE PAYMENT THEREOF <br />A. The City Council has heretofore determined to <br />purchase a fire truck for the City; <br />B. The City Council has entered into contracts for <br />the acquisition of said fire truck; <br />C. No other obligations have been issued to defray <br />the expense.of purchasing said :Eire truck; <br />D. The Council finds that it is necessary, desirable <br />and expedient to issue certificates pursuant to M.S.A. 412,301 <br />to defray the costs of said fire truck; <br />E. The face amount of the certificates does not <br />exceed 1% of the assessed valuation of the City, excluding <br />money and credits. <br />
