R-81-58 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY TO JOIN IN PETITIONING <br />VALLEY BRANCH WATERSHED DISTRICT FOR A JOINT PROJECT FOR <br />THE I-94 OUTLET. <br />WHEREAS, Valley Branch Watershed District and the Minnesota <br />Department of Transportation propose to jointly use the storm <br />water drainage that the Minnesota Department of Transportation <br />will construct along the Interstate Highway,94 corridor at <br />the time of construction of Interstate 94; and <br />WHEREAS, Valley Branch Watershed District proposes to <br />acquire a parcel known as the Barton Gravel Pit for use as <br />a storage site as part of this system; and <br />WHEREAS, prior to commencing such a project, Valley Branch <br />Watershed District needs a petition; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Lake Elmo <br />as follows: <br />1. The City of Lake Elmo hereby authorizes the Mayor <br />and Administrator of said City to execute a joint petition <br />for the project described above and committing the City of Lake <br />Elmo to a maximum contribution of $6,000.00 towards the <br />Preliminary Fund for said project in the event said project <br />is not ordered. <br />Adopted by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo <br />this 18th day of August, 1981. <br />e Ar" ,/ <br />Mayna L.
