OEM <br />THAT, the City of Lake Elmo hereby urges the <br />Metropolitan Council to deny Washington County's request <br />for a Variance from the requirement that they submit four <br />sites for a solid waste landfill in Washington County; and, <br />THAT, the City of Lake Elmo hereby urges the <br />Metropolitan Council oppose the siting of any landfill in <br />or near the Lake Elmo Regional Park Reserve and, thereby, <br />enforce its own covenants and promises to the landowners <br />and the City of Lake Elmo; and, <br />THAT, the City of Lake Elmo hereby urges the <br />Metropolitan Council require Washington County to submit <br />all four required sites for a solid waste landfill in <br />Washington County exclusive of the Lake Elmo Regional Park <br />Reserve before any site is considered by the Metropolitan <br />Council. <br />ADOPTED, this the 15th. day of December, 1981 <br />by the Lake Elmo City Council. <br />SIGNED: <br />maynalu <br />L.
