We are opposed to the City renting property for office use. Rent for <br />the Brookman property will cost over $100,000 within the 5 year lease. <br />Leasehold improvements to make the building suitable for City use will <br />cost $25,000. Why pay this money which will be lost after 5 years. <br />Let's expand the present office if more space is needed. This could <br />be accomplished for one third of the above cost and after 5 years, it <br />still is owned by the City.
