R-82-30 RESOLUTION CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECIAL PROVISIONS OF STATE PROJECT 8282-48 (94=392), FEDERAL PROJECT 1 094-3 (380), THE CONSTRUCTION OF FRONTAGE ROADS ALONG I-94 FROM I-694 TO 2,000 FEET EAST CSAH 13. WHEREAS, the Commissioner of Transportation for the State of Minnesota has prepared: plans, special provisions, and speci- fications for the improvement of Trunk Highway No. 392 renumbered as Trunk Highway No. 94, within the corporate limits of the City of Lake Elmo, from T.H. 694 to 2000 ft. east. of. C.S.A.H. 13 and seeks the approval thereof; and, Whereas, the City of Lake Elmo objects to the designation of the shoulders of said roads as a bicycle trail; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said plans and special provisions for the improvement of said Trunk Highway within said corporate limits of the City, be and hereby are approved including the elevations and grades -as shown and consent is hereby given to any and all changes in grade occasioned by said construction, and, THAT, the City of Lake Elmo does.not approve the designation of the shoulders of the frontage roads as bicycle trails and requests that they be paved but not designated or marked or signed as bicycle trails; and, THAT, the City does hereby agree to require the parking of all vehicles, if such parking is permitted within the corporate limits of said City, on said Trunk Highway, to be parallel with the curb adjacent to the highway, and at least 20 feet from any crosswalks on all public streets intersecting said trunk highway.
