LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JUNE 1, 1.982 <br />Mayor Eder called the meeting to order at 7:05 p.m. <br />COUNCILLORS PRESENT: Novak, Mottaz and Fraser, Councillor Morgan <br />arrived at 9:00 p.m. Also present, Administrator Whittaker. <br />1. Motion carried <br />4-0. <br />2 ;' MINUTES .. May 18, 1982 - Corrections: <br />'Page 8. Item 10. B. about the safety of the intersection <br />at Eeunty 5 State Highway e5..... <br />M/S/P Fraser/Mottaz to approve the minutes of May 18, 1982 as <br />corrected. Motion carried 3-0-1. Eder abstained. <br />MINUTES - May 24, 1982 Joint PZC/Council Meeting - <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Eder to approve the minutes of May 24, 1982. Motion <br />carried 4-0. <br />3. JAMES FISH - PUBLIC HEARING ON SHORELAND PERMIT AND VARIANCE - <br />Bruce Folz presented the three variances needed to construct a <br />new home on Lot 9,, Blk. 2, Eden Park- The City Engineer reviewed <br />,the site plan prepared by Mr. Folz.,. His summary of the requested <br />variances and--repommendat ions were reviewed by the Council (per <br />the Engineer's:0'etter of May 26, 1982 - Revised Site Plan Review for <br />Lot 9, Bll�. 2, Eden Park). The Engineer indicated that there were <br />no ;en.4 neer.(i.ng or public health reasons for denying the variances. <br />The house a.nd drainfield are to be located at the highest point on <br />the lot; and, the lot was platted prior to the adoption of the <br />Shoreland Regulation and the re-classification of Down's Lake flood <br />elevation.. A second drainfield site is identified on the lot. <br />
