CITY COUNCIL MEETING, JULY 6, 1982 <br />-7-- <br />C. NNeudahl Large Lot Subdivision - Continued <br />Mottaz — agrees there slFould-� a sketch plan. <br />--Peck - can a concept plan be presented for review and comment <br />without belhg considered as a request for a Pxeliminary Plat. <br />--Whittaker - can apply for rezoning, provide a sketch plan for <br />the entire parcel and plat one lot, <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Morgan to request Kenneth Neudahl to provide a sketch <br />plan showing future subdivision of Parcel A and B„ as described <br />in his application,; make application for a rezoning for said <br />parcel to R-1, with the subdivision providing one platted 2-3 <br />acre lot to accomodate the Neudahl home. <br />Motion carried 4-0. , <br />The Council confirmed that R-1 zoning is the appropriate and planned <br />zoning for the Neudahl property, <br />9, OLD BUSINESS: <br />A. Resolution:app'roving 201 Sewer Study - <br />--.Eder still concerned about residents who are in need that <br />will not get the help if they are not included.'in the initial <br />program. Also concerned about'losing our reservation for some <br />point in time to pick up -residents- in some type of solution. <br />should water conditions change, <br />M/S/P Morgan/Novak to adopt R-82-40, a resolution of intent regarding <br />waste water treatment works. Motion carried 4--0. <br />--Eder - agrees with the report - convinced this will not solve <br />the problems in the Old Village. <br />B, Signage - Demontreville Trail - Access Warning & $25.00 Fine - <br />Whitta-ecer advised the Council that the _25 fine for par ing <br />violation along Demontreville Trail appear to be working, <br />The Council directed the Administrator to request the County to <br />post a warning sign "Access Ahead" and 'a sign stating the 825 fine <br />fnr parkin( violations at the Demontreville Access. <br />Novak reported that the widening of Lake Elmo Avenue has resulted <br />in an increase of parking with people crossing private property <br />withcanoesand small boats to gain access tothelake. She <br />recommended that additional signing be posted along Lake Elmo Ave, <br />Mnttas reported nn his meeting wi+,h Cnmmissioner Schaefer on hike <br />trail desianations. Schaefer aareed that the Ghoulder alnna Co. 17 <br />would be a anod area for a hike trail. Mottaz recnmme.nded nursuina <br />the designation of cshnuider area along Countv 17 as a hike trail. <br />This designation would eliminate the narking nroblems_alona`17 a[ <br />parking is prohibited on a bike trail. <br />C. Publication,of Ordinance Summaries - <br />M/S/P Eder/Morgan to publish by title and summary the following <br />Ordinances: wetlands/Soil Protection Ordinance, Coderfor Parks <br />and Planning Commissions, and Amendments to the Zoning Ordinance. <br />Motion carried 4-0. <br />
