R-82-56 <br />RESOLUTION <br />A RESOLUTION GRANTING WASHINGTON COUNTY PERMISSION <br />TO INSTALL TEST WELLS IN THE OLD CITY LANDFILL AREA <br />WHEREAS, Washington County, Ramsey County, and the <br />Minnesota Pollution Control Agency have been investigating <br />the extent of the around water contamination in the old <br />City of Lake Elmo landfill area; and <br />WHEREAS, tests have been made of several wells in that <br />area by the above named agencies; and <br />WHEREAS, Washington County wishes to conduct additional <br />tests on the site and proposes to install ground water monitoring <br />wells for this purpose. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo: <br />1. Washington County is hereby granted permission to enter <br />upon the old landfill property owned by the City of Lake Elmo for <br />the purpose of installing and maintaining ground water monitoring <br />wells. <br />2. It is understood Washington County will provide the <br />City of Lake Elmo with copies of all materials, test results, <br />meeting minutes, etc. relating to this ground water monitoring <br />program in the old landfill area. <br />Adopted by the City Council, City of Lake Elmo this 19th <br />day of October, 1982.. <br />�- <br />Maynard/E.
