R82-37 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR <br />AND ENGINEER TO SECURE BIDS FOR PAINTING <br />OF THE WATER TOWER <br />WHEREAS, the City Council ordered an inspection <br />of the Water Tank; and, <br />WHEREAS, Twin City Testing Company inspected the <br />tank and found the City should spot clean and paint the <br />exterior and completely clean and paint the interior in <br />order to preserve the integrity of the structure; and, <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer also recommended the <br />improvement in his May 17, 1982, letter to the City Ad- <br />ministrator, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL <br />OF THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO THAT: <br />1. The City Engineer and City Administrator are <br />authorized to secure bids for the aformentioned <br />cleaning and painting of the water tank; and, <br />2. The City Engineer is authorized to administer <br />the construction contract with Twin City Testing <br />contracting for resident inspection and testing. <br />ADOPTED, this the 1st. day of June, 1982, by the <br />City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, <br />Minnesota. <br />Signed: <br />Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />La rence E.
