LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />December 6, 1983 <br />Prior to the meeting a brief presentation was made by Richard Franson <br />of Electronic Design Company on a microphone system for the City <br />Council Chambers. <br />The meeting was called to order by Mayor Eder at 7:10 p.m. in the City <br />Council Chambers. <br />Councillors present: Dunn, Mazzara, Fraser and Morgan (arrived at <br />7:15 p.m.) <br />1. Agenda: <br />M/S/P Mazzara/Fraser - To approve the agenda as presented. (Carried <br />4-0) <br />2. Minutes: November 15, 1983 City Council Meeting <br />M/S/P Fraser/Mazzara - To approve the November 15, 1983 City Council <br />Minutes as amended; Delete from Page 3, Paragraph 3 "April 30th was <br />an arbitrary date, the weather being a considering factor, however". <br />(Carried 5-0) <br />3. Claims List: <br />M/S/P Morgan/Fraser - To approve Claims 84322 thru 84391. (Carried <br />5-0) <br />4. Engineer's Report: <br />a. CSAH 15 Proposed Improvements by Washington County. <br />City Engineer, Larry Bohrer, reiterated the proposal of the Washington <br />County Public Works Department as outlined in his letter of December <br />1, 1983 to the City Council, and recommended adoption of the proposed <br />resolution. <br />Mr. Dick Herold of the Washington County Public Works Department was <br />present to review the plan and to answer any questions from the City <br />Council. <br />M/S/P Morgan/Fraser - To adopt Resolution 83-72 approving the plans <br />for upgrading a portion of CSAH 15 (Manning Avenue). (Carried 5-0) <br />b. Shoreland Permit and Variance for Ken Evanoff at 9199 Jane <br />Road North. <br />City Engineer, Larry Bohrer, discussed his comments regarding this <br />application as outlined in his letter of December 1, 1983 to the City <br />Council. Bohrer further stated that he spoke with the DNR on December <br />6, 1983 and they did not indicate they would have any problem with <br />this variance. The DNR, however, has not completed their approval of <br />the permit and stated that the City's action would not limit any <br />®E <br />
