1 <br />EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />LAKE, ELMO, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: JUNE 7, 1983 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice � thereof, ar-.�.gmeeting <br />of the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Was'hangton <br />County, Minnesota, was duly held at the City Hall in said City <br />on the 7th day of June, 1983, at 7:00 o"clock P M. for the <br />purpose of authorizing the issuanc�e"o-f—and award-f—ng the sale of <br />$140,000 General Obligation Improvement Bonds of 1983 of said <br />City. <br />The following members were,present: Mayor Maynard Eder, <br />Council Member Bruce Dunn and I -aura Fraser <br />and the following were absent: Council Member David Morgan and <br />Mike Mazzara <br />Member Fraser introduced the following <br />resolution ana--iaoovi ; is a o tion: <br />RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR THE <br />ISSUANCE AND SALE OF <br />$140,000 GENERAL OBLIGATION <br />IMPROVEMENT BONDS OF 1983 <br />WHEREAS.- <br />h. The City Council has heretofore determined that it is <br />necessary and expedient to issue $140,000 General Obligation <br />Improvement Bonds of 1983, pursuant to M.S.A. 475 and M.S.A. <br />429 to provide financing for the construction of various <br />improvements in the City; <br />B. No other obligations have been sold ,pursuant to a <br />private sale within the last three (3) calendar months of the <br />date hereof which when combined with this issue would exceed <br />$300,000 as required by Minnesota Statutes, Section 475.60, <br />subdivision 2(2); <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo, Minnesota, as follows: <br />
