( NOW, THEREFORE, in consideration of the premises and of <br />the mutual promises and conditions hereinafter contained, it <br />is hereby agreed as follows: <br />1. IMPROVEMENTS <br />In accordance with the policies and ordinances of the <br />City, the following described improvements shall be constructed <br />and installed on the terms and conditions hereinafter contained: <br />a. Street grading, graveling and stabilizing, bitumi- <br />nous surfacing, bituminous curb, construction <br />of berms and boulevards, and turf restoration <br />including seeding, mulching, and sodding (herein- <br />after called "Street Improvements"); <br />b. Drainage facilities, including all necessary <br />storm sewers, catch basins, ponds, inlets and <br />other appurtenances as well as seeding, mulching, <br />and sodding (hereinafter called "Storm Sewer <br />Improvements"); <br />C. Standard street name signs at all newly opened <br />intersections and such other traffic control signs <br />within the subdivision determined to be necessary <br />by the City Engineer (hereinafter called "Traffic <br />Signing Improvements"); <br />d. Underground gas, electric and telephone service to <br />be arranged by the Developer with the utility <br />companies involved (hereinafter called "Utility <br />Improvements"); <br />2. DESIGN, INSPECTION AND AS-BUILTS AND WARRANTY RELATED <br />TO IMPROVEMENTS <br />Prior to any construction, plans and specifications for all <br />storm sewer. facilities, grading, bituminous curb and bituminous <br />surfacing, whether to be public or private shall be prepared by <br />a Registered Professional Civil Engineer and submitted to the <br />City Engineer for approval.
