Last week the Washington County Board held a public hearing <br />on the proposed expansion of the Minnesota Pipeline in <br />Washington County. Part of this pipeline runs through Lake <br />Elmo near the proposed Waste -to -Energy stie. Doug Wood, <br />Waste -to -Energy Project Manager, was present and spoke at this <br />hearing. (No negative impact) <br />After talking with the County Planner, Bob Lockyear, I <br />understand that: Minnesota Pipeline has existing easements; <br />they will be installing a 2nd pipe in this easement; they must <br />follow state and federal regultions; the County Public Works <br />Department will be inspecting the project; and no approval <br />from the affected cities is required. <br />Attached is the School District 622 Newsletter. <br />
