LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 5-15-84 PAGE 2 <br />M/S/P Fraser/Mazzara - To amend the above motion to exclude the Hesse <br />application from the blanket approval of the other two applications, <br />and to consider the Hesse application separately. (Motion carried <br />4-0) <br />M/S/P Dunn/Mazzara - To approve a 3.2 license for Richard Hesse on <br />June 2, for a graduation party at Green Acres Recreation Center. <br />(Motion carried 3-1 <Fraser>) <br />Fraser stated she would not vote for a beer license at a high school <br />graduation because of the liability to the City. There is an <br />extremely high liklihood that underage people will drink at such a <br />party. <br />Eder stated that the Washington County Sheriff's Department should be <br />made aware of this party. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Fraser - To approve the request by the Lake Elmo Business <br />Assoication for the use of the council chambers for an after-hours <br />mixer; and to approve the 3.2 beer and wine license for May 21, 1984 <br />from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. (Motion carried 4-0) <br />5. Engineer's Report <br />A. Shoreland Permit for Todd Williams at 3025 Lake <br />Elmo Avenue North for an addition to the existing <br />house. <br />Pursuant to recommendations from City Engineer, DNR and City Staff for <br />approval of this application, (as this was a parcel of record before <br />the adoption of the Shoreland Ordinance) the following action was <br />taken. <br />M/S/P Dunn/Mazzara - To approve a shoreland permit and lot size <br />variance for Todd Williams at 30211 Lake Elmo Avenue North for an <br />addition to the existing house, contingent upon applicant- complying <br />with the recommendations of City Engineer as outlined in his letter of <br />May 15, 1984 which includes the recommendation that the applicant <br />coordinate with TKDA on the water service location. (Motion carried <br />4-0) <br />B. Shoreland Permit for Robert Anderson at 4655 Olson <br />Lake Trail. <br />Pursuant to recommendations from City Engineer (as outlined in his <br />letter of May 15 , 1984), DNR, and City Staff for approval of this <br />application (as this was a parcel of record before adoption of the <br />Shoreland Ordinance), the following action was taken. <br />M/S/P Fraser/Mazzara - To approve the Shoreland Permit and Lot Size <br />Variance for Robert Anderson at 4655 Olson Lake Trail to enlarge an <br />existing garage, based on a favorable recommendation by City Engineer, <br />as outlined in his letter of May 15, 1984, and based on a favorable <br />recommendation from the DNR and City staff. (Motion carried 4-0) <br />
