LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES 5-15-84 PAGE 2 M/S/P Fraser/Mazzara - To amend the above motion to exclude the Hesse application from the blanket approval of the other two applications, and to consider the Hesse application separately. (Motion carried 4-0) M/S/P Dunn/Mazzara - To approve a 3.2 license for Richard Hesse on June 2, for a graduation party at Green Acres Recreation Center. (Motion carried 3-1 <Fraser>) Fraser stated she would not vote for a beer license at a high school graduation because of the liability to the City. There is an extremely high liklihood that underage people will drink at such a party. Eder stated that the Washington County Sheriff's Department should be made aware of this party. M/S/P Dunn/Fraser - To approve the request by the Lake Elmo Business Assoication for the use of the council chambers for an after-hours mixer; and to approve the 3.2 beer and wine license for May 21, 1984 from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. (Motion carried 4-0) 5. Engineer's Report A. Shoreland Permit for Todd Williams at 3025 Lake Elmo Avenue North for an addition to the existing house. Pursuant to recommendations from City Engineer, DNR and City Staff for approval of this application, (as this was a parcel of record before the adoption of the Shoreland Ordinance) the following action was taken. M/S/P Dunn/Mazzara - To approve a shoreland permit and lot size variance for Todd Williams at 30211 Lake Elmo Avenue North for an addition to the existing house, contingent upon applicant- complying with the recommendations of City Engineer as outlined in his letter of May 15, 1984 which includes the recommendation that the applicant coordinate with TKDA on the water service location. (Motion carried 4-0) B. Shoreland Permit for Robert Anderson at 4655 Olson Lake Trail. Pursuant to recommendations from City Engineer (as outlined in his letter of May 15 , 1984), DNR, and City Staff for approval of this application (as this was a parcel of record before adoption of the Shoreland Ordinance), the following action was taken. M/S/P Fraser/Mazzara - To approve the Shoreland Permit and Lot Size Variance for Robert Anderson at 4655 Olson Lake Trail to enlarge an existing garage, based on a favorable recommendation by City Engineer, as outlined in his letter of May 15, 1984, and based on a favorable recommendation from the DNR and City staff. (Motion carried 4-0)
