ORDINANCE NO. 7962 CITY OF LAKE ELMO WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA AN ORDINANCE AMENDING THE 1979 MUNICIPAL CODE )OI' LAKE ELMO RELATING TO THE SALE OF INTOXICATING LIQUOR AND NON -INTOXICATING MALT 'LIQUOR ON STATE WIDE ELECTION DAYS. The City Council of the City of Lake Elmo ordains: Section 1. Amendment. Section 1201.080A. Is hereby amended to read as follows: w _� No sale of intoxicating liquor shall be made on Sunday, nor j until eight A.M. on Monday, except as is provided by Subd. B of this Section, nor between the hours of eight A.M. and three o'clock P.M. on any Memorial Day. No "on sale" shall be made between the hours of. One A.M. and eight: o'clock A.M. on any week day. No "off sale" shall be made before eight o'clock A.M. or after ten o'clock P.M. of any day. No "off sale" shall be made on New Year's Day, January 1; Memorial Day, May 20; Independence Day, July 4; Thanksgiving Day; or Christmas Day, December 25; but on the evenings preceding such days, if the sale of liquor is not otherwise prohibited such days, if the sale of liquor is not oth- erwise prohibited on such evenings, "off sale" may be made until ten o'clock P.M., except that no "off sale" shall be made on December 24 after eight o'clock P.M. Section 2. Amendment._ Section 1202..130. Is hereby amended to read as follows: Hours of Sale. No sale of non -intoxicating malt liquor shall. be made between the hours of 1 A.M. and 8 ,A'.M. on any weekday, Monday through Saturday, inclusive. Neither shall any sale of such liquor be made on any Sunday between the hours of 1 A.M. and 12 o'clock noon. Section 3. October 2, 1984. This Ordinance shall take ef- fect and be in force from and after its passage and publication according to law. Passed by the City Council this 2nd day of October, 1984. Maynar L.
