R-84-16 <br />RESOLUTION <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION OFFERING APPRECIATION AND THANKS <br />TO DAVID A. MORGAN FOR HIS CONTRIBUTION AND <br />DEDICATION TO THE LAKE ELMO PARK ADVISORY <br />COMMITTEE FROM MAY 24, 1972 to DECEMBER 31, 1983. <br />WHEREAS, the Park Commission appreciates the service <br />that David A. Morgan has given to the City as Park Commission <br />Chairman and Commissioner for the past eleven years, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council has had the pleasure of <br />working with David A. Morgan during his service on the Park <br />Commission, and; <br />WHEREAS, the City Council and Park Commission has <br />greatly appreciated his understanding of community needs and <br />goals and his assistance throughout the process of planning <br />and developing the City parks system; and especially, his <br />advice and effort in designing, initiating and implementing <br />improvements to City parks. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council <br />of the City of Lake Elmo, that: <br />The City Council and each and every member, past and <br />present who have had the opportunity to work with David A. Morgan <br />hereby offer their sincere appreciation and thanks to <br />David A. Morgan who served on the Park Advisory Commission from <br />May 24, 1972 until December 31, 1983 and as Park Advisory <br />Chairman from May 24, 1972 until March 15, 1982. <br />ADOPTED, this the 17th day of January, 1984, by the <br />City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, <br />Minnesota. <br />Signed: <br />Maynar',d L.
