I believe Council member Christ has displayed this <br />over the past year. <br />B. Appointment of Official Depositories <br />M/S/P Dunn/Christ - to appoint the State Bank of Lake Elmo, <br />Washington Federal, Oak Park Heights, American National of St. <br />Paul, Offerman and Company, Inc., and Juran & Moody Company, Inc. <br />as the City of Lake Elmo's official depositories. (Motion carried <br />4-0-1<Abstain: Mazzara>). <br />C. Designation of Legal Newspaper <br />There have not been any problems with the Washington County Review <br />being our legal newspaper and the staff recommends designation of <br />the Washington County Review as our legal newspaper in 1986. <br />Armstrong - There should be an occasional article sent to the St. <br />Croix Valley Press. Instead of Washington County Review, it is <br />now the Oakdale -Lake Elmo Review. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Christ - to designate the Washington County Review <br />as the Lake Elmo official newspaper. <br />D. Appointment, of City Consultants <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Mazzara - to appoint Larry Bohrer of TKDA as Lake <br />Elmo's City Engineer. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Dunn/Morgan - to appoint Rob Chelseth as Lake Elmo's City <br />Planner. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Christ/Dunn - to appoint Fritz Knaak as Lake Elmo's City <br />Attorney. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Dunn/Morgan - to appoint Gregory J. Tavernier as Lake Elmo's <br />City Prosecutor. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />E. Appointment of the Council as Personnel, Budget, and <br />Capital Improvement Committee. <br />Dunn - Regarding the Building Committee, what if the Council as a <br />whole would meet on a Saturday or short term notice meeting? <br />Overby - How many Council members constitute a quorum for a <br />meeting. Overby's understanding is that if more than two council <br />members attend, then a notice is required. <br />M/S/P Armstrong/Morgan - to appoint the entire City Council to <br />serve as a committee for budget, capital improvement and personnel <br />matters. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />F.- Appointment of City Representatives to Community <br />Education Advisory Boards <br />
