RESOLUTION 86- 42 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />IN SUPPORT OF ALLOWING RESIDENTS OF <br />THE CITY OF OAKDALE TO USE THE <br />LAKE ELMO COMPOSTING SITE <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo operates a site for the <br />composting of leaves and grass that is open to the public; and <br />WHEREAS, there is enough capacity at the City's composting <br />site to handle additional compost material; and <br />WHEREAS, Washington County has requested that the City of <br />Lake Elmo decide whether it wants to allow residents of Oakdale to <br />use Lake Elmo's composting site; and <br />WHEREAS, Washington County will contact the City of Oakdale <br />in order to make the initial offer of providing the service and <br />prepare the necessary agreements if the City of Oakdale should <br />desire to use the Lake Elmo composting facility; and <br />WHEREAS, Washington County will consider increasing the <br />amount of compensation provided to the City of Lake Elmo, should <br />the cost of operating and maintaining the facility increase beyond <br />the present rate of compensation as a result of the increased use <br />by Oakdale residents. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo, <br />THAT, Washington County Public Health Department may inquire <br />of the City of Oakdale as to their interest in using the Lake Elmo <br />composting facility and provide the necessary administrative <br />follow-up, including additional compensation to the City of Lake <br />Elmo if that proves to be necessary. <br />ADOPTED, this 19th day of August, 1986, by the City Council <br />of the City of Lake Elmo, Washington County, Minnesota. <br />Signed 19 cv6.-' cR. 2 ,en <br />David A.
