RESOLUTION 87-43 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON, COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ORDERING A PUBLIC HEARING FOR THE CITY ENGINEER'S <br />FEASIBILITY REPORT AND CALLING FOR THE 1987 M.S.A. IMPROVEMENT <br />PROGRAM FOR A PROJECT TO IMPROVE 47TH STREET NORTH FROM KEATS <br />AVENUE NORTH TO KIMBRO AVENUE NORTH IN THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo is eligible to receive <br />construction funds for the improvement of Municipal State Aid (M.S.A.) <br />Highways for fiscal year 1987; and, <br />WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve 47th Street North from Keats <br />Avenue North to Kimbro Avenue North, all in the City of Lake Elmo, in <br />1987 and to assess the benefited property for a portion of the cost of <br />these improvements pursuant to Minnesota Statutes Chapter 429. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo that the improvements proposed herein shall henceforth be <br />referred to as the 1987 M.S.A. Improvements; and the City Engineer is <br />instructed to report to the Council in a preliminary way as to whether <br />the proposed improvements are feasbile and the estimated cost of the <br />proposed improvements; and, <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of Lake <br />Elmo that a public hearing be held on July 21, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. in <br />the Lake Elmo City Council Chambers to consider the feasibility of the <br />1987 State Aid Improvement Program and to receive public input on the <br />proposed project. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo on this 19th <br />day of May, 1987. <br />Signed: Cyv <br />Arly�ist, Mayor <br />Attest: <br />
