CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT OF BID <br />FOR PART D OF THE 201 PROGRAM <br />AND TO AWARD SUCH BID TO LAKE AREA UTILITY CONTRACTING, INC. <br />THE LOWEST RESPONSIVE RESPONSIBLE BIDDER <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has received State and Federal Grants for <br />the improvement of certain septic systems within the City, and <br />WHEREAS, bids were received for Part D of the work on June 19, 1987 with <br />the lowest responsive responsible bidder being submitted by Lake Area <br />Utility Contracting, Inc., of Hugo, Minnesota, in the amount of <br />$579,027.00, and <br />WHEREAS, the City desires to award the work in Part D to the lowest <br />responsive responsible bidder. <br />WHEREAS, concurrence in the award must first be received from the Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Agency, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED: THAT <br />The City of Lake Elmo receives all bids submitted, and <br />The City of Lake Elmo will forward all bids to the Minnesota Pollution <br />Control Agency for review, and <br />The City of Lake Elmo requests that the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency <br />concur in the award of contract for Part D to Lake Area Utility <br />Contracting, Inc., the lowest responsive responsible bidder. <br />ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo, this 22nd day of <br />June, 1987. <br />Signed <br />Ar I yn CVi st, Mayor <br />ATTEST: <br />Robert Lee Overby, City A nistrator <br />
