RESOLUTION 8$-45 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING BUDGET FOR 1989 AND LEVYING TAXES FOR 1989 <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has heretofore <br />considered and has adopted a budget setting forth in detail complete <br />financial plans of the City for the year 1989; and <br />WHEREAS, the Finance Director at the direction of the City <br />Council has computed the amount of taxes necessary and within <br />statutory limits which must be levied and collected during the year <br />1989 in order to provide the budgeted funds; and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lake Elmo has considered <br />the said proposed levy and determined the same to be necessary in the <br />public interest. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City <br />of Lake Elmo that the attached budget is hereby adopted and approved <br />as the budget for the City of Lake Elmo during the year 1989, and the <br />sum of $460,132 is hereby levied in order to provide the City with the <br />funds required by said budget and that the sum of $75,000 General <br />Obligation Park Bond, and a $50,000 Equipment Certificate, also be <br />levied for 1989 Bonded Indebtedness for a total City levy of $585,132. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Finance Director is hereby <br />directed to certify a copy of this resolution to the County Auditor in <br />accordance with law. <br />Adopted by the Lake Elmo City Council. this 4th day of October, <br />(A <br />Ariyn rist, Mayor —.__— <br />Patricia Mor "'s in, City Administrator <br />
