RESOLUTION NO. 88-51 <br />CITY OF LAKE ELMO <br />WASHINGTON COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />RESOLUTION APPROVING THE APPLICATION <br />FOR A DEPARTMENT OF NATURAL RESOURCES PARK GRANT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Lake Elmo has reviewed the need for <br />winter grooming of the ski trail system in Sunfish Park for the <br />1987-88 skiing season; and, <br />WIiEREAS, the need for ski trail winter grooming for the <br />approximate 13.1 kilometers of ski trails in Sunfish Park exceeds the <br />dollars available for such services; and, <br />WHEREAS, the Department of Natural Resources (DNR) has grant <br />monies available for winter grooming of the ski trails; <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the <br />City of Lake Elmo, that the City staff, and Parks Commission, are <br />hereby directed to apply for a grant for maintenance of ski trails in <br />Sunfish Lake, and the City shall enter into an agreement with <br />Washington County to perform the Maintenance of the trails in Sunfish <br />Lake. <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and Administrator are <br />hereby authorized to sign such application to the Minnesota Department <br />of Natural Resources Minnesota Assistance Program funds through its <br />Grant -In Aid Program. <br />ADOPTED, by the Lake Elmo City Council this 15th day of <br />November, 1988. <br />Signed: a_d� <br />Arlyn zrist, Mayor <br />At <br />
