THIS WAS SUBMITTED TO THE CITY COUNCIL AT THEIR MAY 16, 1989 <br />CITY COUNCIL MEETING BY PZ MEMBER ED STEVENS. <br />Statement by the Members of the Lake Elmo <br />Planning and Zoning Commission <br />When I voted for accepting the new Lake Elmo <br />Zoning Map which includes 2.5 and 5 acre lots, <br />and a business district along I-94, I did this <br />with the understanding that the current ordi- <br />nance of allowed businesses would be altered <br />so that only desirable businesses would qualify. <br />l <br />I accept the new Lake Elmo Zoning Map which <br />includes 2.5 and 5 acre lots and a business <br />district along I-94, with the understanding <br />that the Planning and Zoning Commission will <br />work on re -draft# ing the highway ordinance <br />to fit within our rural atmosphere. <br />
