Update as set forth in the this special workshop was made to J. Request for Purchase of Recorder, Transcriber and Appurtenances Two bids were received for a Recorder/Transcriber system: Lanier from Wahl and Wahl and Norcom from Precision Business Systems. This equipment was not budgeted for in 1989, funding would be from Council Reserve. Councilman Williams was in favor of purchasing the recorder/transcriber, but felt there was not a need for the pocket recorder. The Council asked the Administrator to look into the cost of leasing the pocket recorder. M/S/P Graves/Moe -- resolved that the City Administrator is hereby authorized to purchase a Lanier Recording System, from Wahl and Wahl, Inc., in the amount of $757.10, together with one price of conference recording microphones, in the amount of $36.00, and further, that the existing equipment be traded for a credit of $35.00. (Motion carried 3-1 Williams: We should not purchase the equipment if we do not need it). M/S/P Graves/Moe - to adjourn the City Council meeting at 12:45 p.m. (Motion carried 4-0).
