LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 6, 1989 <br />Mayor Dunn called the City Council meeting to order at 7:01 p.m. in the <br />City Council chambers. Present: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Graves, Moe <br />(arrived 7:10 p.m.), City Engineer Bohrer, City Attorney Knaak and <br />Administrator Morrison. <br />1.. AGENDA <br />Add: F. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. MINUTES: May 16, 1989 <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve the May 16, 1989 City Council Minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />MINUTES: May 31, 1.989 <br />M/S/P Graves/Williams - to approve the May 31, 1989 Special Council <br />Workshop Minutes as amended. (Motion carried, 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/P Graves/Moe - to approve the June 6, 1989 Claims#91838 thru #91935 <br />as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES: <br />None <br />5. HUFF'N PUFF PROCLAMATION <br />MAYOR DUNN PROCLAIMED AUGUST 10 THRU 13th AS HUFF'N PUFF DAYS in the City <br />of. Lake Elmo and to waive the fees for use of the ballfiel.ds during this <br />time and accept the Lake Elmo Jaycee's invitation to participate on the <br />celebrity softball. team. <br />6. REAPP REPORT <br />ReAPP meetings will be held the first and third Sundays of the Month at <br />8:00 p.m. in City Hall until school starts. <br />Todd Williams reported that the lobbying campaign was not successful in <br />getting legislation passed to delete the landfill sites. However, the <br />legislature did pass provisions allowing for compensation of Citys who <br />have engineering costs involved in reviewing these sites. Th�refpe+�ONthe <br />vast majority of our costs for DPRA will be reimbursed„ t)AA,i/, g`ti�atis <br />will be starting at the Metro Council to redefine buffer areas. <br />
