F <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL. MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 3, 1989 <br />Mayor Dunn. called the meeting to order at 7:00 p.m. in the City Council <br />chambers. Present: Dunn, Hunt, Williams, Graves, Moe (Arrived 7:05 <br />p.m.), City Attorney Knaak and City Administrator Morrison. <br />1. AGENDA <br />M/S/P Graves/Hunt - to approve the October 3, 1989 City Council agenda as <br />presented. (Motion carried 4-0:Councilman Moe arrived at 7:05 p.m.) <br />2. MINUTES: September 26, 1989 <br />M/S/P Hunt/Graves - to postpone consideration of the September 26, 1989 <br />Council minutes until the October 17, 1989 Council meeting. (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Councilman Williams indicated the Council was not pleased with the large <br />amount of legal costs that they have incurred, but they don't see anyway <br />this can be avoided. <br />M/S/P Hunt/Graves - to approve the October 3, 1989 Claim $92212 thru <br />$92250 as presented. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. REAPP <br />Todd Williams reported ReAPP has talked with Rossana Armson, MN Center for <br />Survey Research, requesting her to write a letter regarding the <br />socio-economic part of the EIS. Based on the previous letter she had <br />written the cost was $25; therefore, ReAPP would like the Council <br />authorization of $25 for one final letter. It was clarified that this <br />cost would be added to the on -going account for landfill expenses. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to authorize $25 for a letter to be written by <br />Rossana Armson to Zack Hansen regarding the socio-economic part of the <br />EIS. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />5. PUBLIC INQUIRIES: <br />There were no public inquiries <br />6. PUBLIC HEARING: Proposed 1990 Budget <br />Published notice for the Public Hearing: Proposed 1990 Budget was <br />scheduled for 7:30 p.m. The time was 7:05 p.m.; therefore, the following <br />motion was made. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to postpone consideration of the Proposed 1990 <br />Budget until 7:30. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Dunn/Hunt - to bring the Public Hearing for the Proposed 1990 Budget <br />back onto the table for Council consideration. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />
