i. The City should organize a recycling committee which ( will assist in monitoring the curbside recycling program and provide direction on additional public education activities and other program needs. 4. The City and County further agree that: a. No money will be given to the City until the Washington County Public Health Department has approved the City's Curbside Recycling Work Plan and notified the City of its approval in writing. b. Upon the mutual written consent of the parties, this Agreement may be renewed for successive periods of one year upon the same terms and conditions in all respects as hereinafter set forth, and upon such other terms and conditions as they shall mutually agree in the manner set forth below, provided that any such other terms and conditions shall be in writing. Notice of desire to renew this Agreement shall be given by the party desiring such renewal to the other party, in writing, not less than sixty (60) days prior to the expiration term of this contract. c. it is understood and agreed that the entire agreement of the Parties .is contained herein and that this Agreement supercedes all oral agreements and negotiations between the Parties relating to the subject matter hereof. d. All books, records, documents and accounting procedures and practices of the City relevant to this Agreement are subject to examination by the County, and the State Auditor, as appropriate, in accordance with the provisions of Minn. Stat. Section 16B.06 subd. 4. e. The Parties will comply with all federal, state and local laws, ordinances, rules, regulations and executive orders pertaining to unlawful discrimination on account of race, color, creed, religion, national origin, sex, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, disability or age. f. Any alterations, amendments, deletions, or waivers of the provisions of this Agreement shall be valid only when expressed in writing and duly signed by the Parties. 3
