DATE APPROVED: 3/20/90 <br />DATE ISSUED: 3/30/90 <br />r..;,.. ... <br />.. <br />is <br />l <br />LAKE <br />ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />MINUTES <br />MARCH 6, <br />1990 <br />Mayor Dunn <br />called the City <br />Council meeting <br />to order at 7:02 p.m. in <br />the City Council chambers. <br />Present: <br />Dunn, <br />Williams, Graves, <br />Armstrong, <br />City Engineer <br />Larry Bohrer <br />and Acting Administrator Mary <br />Kueffner. <br />Absent: Hunt <br />1. AGENDA <br />Add: BE. Load Limits on City Streets, 10A. Report from Personnel <br />Committee, 11D. Clean-up Days. <br />M/S/P Graves/Williams - to approve the March 6, 1990 City Council <br />agenda as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. MINUTES: February 20, 1990 <br />M/S/P Williams/Graves - to approve the February 20, 1990 City Council <br />minutes as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />Add: Claim #93057 DPRA $5,097.76 and Claim #93058 DPRA $6,584.74 (The <br />City has received the money from the Met Council for reimbursement of <br />these invoices.) <br />M/S/P Graves/Williams - to approve the March 6, 1990 Claims #92999 <br />thru #93058 as amended. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES: <br />There were no public inquiries. <br />5. Information Meeting with Senator Laidig and Representative <br />McPherson <br />Senator Laidig and Representative McPherson discussed current <br />legislative issues. Topics discussed were Impact of local government <br />aid cut, Amendment for Redefining the Buffer Area around the proposed <br />landfill, Workmen's Compensation for Small Companies, and Charitable <br />Gambling. <br />6. REAPP REPORT: <br />Todd Williams reported Attorney Ellen Sampson will be attending the <br />REAPP meeting on Sunday, March 18th and bringing with her a map that <br />her firm has been working on regarding the property ownership and <br />funding for purchasing property in the park. Dan Novak had called <br />three council people who were interested in atttending this meeting. <br />Therefore, Williams felt an official Council meeting should be called. <br />
