PROGRESS REPORT <br />Project: EIS Review for Proposed Landfill Site G in Lake Elmo <br />Project #: 5175.001 <br />Date: March 12, 1990 <br />Reporting Period: 1/26/90 - 2/25/90 <br />Activities Undertaken During the Reporting Period <br />The project team of DPRA Incorporated and Geraghty and Miller, Inc. reviewed <br />the Hydro/Geo Tech memo and began to develop comments and criticisms of the <br />memo. The project team continued their search and review of additional <br />information on the geologic and hydrogeologic characteristics of the area <br />around Site G. The project team also began the risk modeling effort by ini- <br />tiating development of input values for the release and transport modeling. <br />Activities Anticipated Next Month <br />During the month of March, the project team will continue their review of the <br />Hvdro/Geo Tech memo and additional information on the geologic and hydro - <br />geologic characteristics of the area around Site G. This latter review will <br />include a review of the preprint version of the Geologic and Hydrogeologic <br />Atlas for Washington County currently being prepared by the Minnesota <br />Geological Survey. Also during this month, the project team will initiate <br />review of the health risk tech memo, if it becomes available, and initiate <br />landfill release and groundwater transport modeling if landfill design para- <br />meters become available. <br />Changes in Personnel and Schedule <br />No changes in personnel. If the health risk memo does not become available <br />in March, the review of the memo and initiation of the modeling would be <br />delayed until the memo becomes available. <br />
