This is the auditor's estimate of the tune <br />expended auditing that account. If a senior auditor's time is billed at $50/Hr., this charge <br />represents 16 hours of time auditing and reporting on the account. <br />The City Council can decide whether all, part, or none of this $800 should be charged <br />against the Sewer Fund. Any part of the $800 not charged.against the Sewer Fund would <br />have to be paid from general funds. <br />2. Comparison of Sewer Rates• I have contacted neighboring communities acid other 201 <br />communities to determine a comparison of sewer rates. The following are my findings and <br />are atnmal rates per residential unit. <br />a) Washington County 201 - 1st Year $365 <br />2nd Year Afton $721 <br />May $263 <br />Scandia $322 <br />The County hired at least one new employee and they do a substantial amount of <br />groundwater monitoring. <br />b) Independence 201 - Cluster System W/O Pump Station $188 <br />Cluster System W/Pump Station $288 <br />c) Greenfield 201 --- <br />(1) Mahtomedi Sewer - Unmetered Minimum $212 <br />Metered Average $208 <br />
