This inspection was conducted to <br />determine if the Company qualifies as a generator of hazardous <br />waste under Minnesota Rules. As we discussed,*this inspection <br />confirmed that the Company does indeed qualify as a hazardous <br />waste generator. Please be advised that the Department has the <br />authority to conduct unannounced inspections at any reasonable <br />time to determine compliance with hazardous waste regulations. <br />Washington County offers a training session for hazardous waste <br />generators, described in the enclosed memo. I strongly encourage <br />you to attend one of these sessions at your convenience. I am <br />also enclosing for your information a request form for various <br />hazardous waste fact sheets and a Hazardous Waste Primer. <br />The County requests that you submit to this office a properly <br />completed Hazardous Waste Generator License Application, and a <br />properly completed EPA Form 8700-12 (only if you have not already <br />applied for an EPA Identification Number) by December 27, 1999. <br />Should you have any questions, please contact me. <br />Sincerely, <br />Kenneth A.
