DATE APPROVED: 8f7/90 DATE ISSUED: 8/17/90 LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JULY 17, 1990 Mayor Dunn called the City Council meeting to order at 7:01 p.m, in the City Council chambers. Present: Dunn, Hunt, Armstrong, City Engineer Larry Bohrer, City Attorney Knaak and Administrator Kueffner. Absent: Williams and Graves. 1. AGENDA Add: 12K. Ordinance for Proposed Fees for Dog Impound, 13A. Workshop with Planning Commission. M/S/P Armstrong/Hunt - to approve the July 17, 1990 City Council agenda as amended. (Motion carried 3-0). 2. MINUTES: June 19, 1990 M/S/P Hunt/Armstrong- to approve the June 19, 1990 City Council minutes as amended. (Motion carried 3-0). 3. CLAIMS M/S/P Hunt/Armstrong - to approve the July 17, 1990 claims #93492 thru #93586 as presented. (Motion carried 3-0). 4. REAPP REPORT No ReAPP Report presented. 5. JAYCEE PROCLAMATION MAYOR DUNN PROCLAIMED THE SECOND WEEK OF AUGUST, 1990 TO BE "HUFF N'PUFF DAYS" IN THE CITY OF LAKE ELMO, AND URGE. ALL CITIZENS OF OUR COMMUNITY TO GIVE FULL REGARD TO THE PAST AND CONTINUING SERVICES OF THE LAKE ELMO JAYCEES. 6. 3.2 beer License for Huff n'Puf£ - Lake Elmo Jaycees The City received an application from the Lake Elmo Jaycees for a non -intoxicating liquor license for Lion's Park from August 9th thru August 12th, 1990. At this time,.the City has not received approval from the Washington County Sheriff's Dept.. It has been a past practice of the Council's to waive the $10 fee for this beer license as well as the fee for use of the ba.11fields. M/S/P Hunt/Armstrong - to grant a 3.2 non -intoxicating beer license to the Lake Elmo Jaycees for the sale of beer in Lions Park during Huff N'Puff Days; August 9 through 12, 1990; contingent upon favorable response from the Washington County Sheriff's Office, and to waive the $10 fee for said license; and to waive all charges for the use of City Parks during Huff N'Puff activities, August 9th thru August 12, 1990.
