This arrangement has worked well
last year with your municipality and the County Attorney's Office
will be more than happy to continue this practice.
However, in order to insure that our office has jurisdiction to
proceed in these cases, it will be necessary for cities to give
yearly authorization to the County Attorney to represent them in
these matters. If you are interested in having the County Attorney
represent your city in fifth degree assault cases where children
are victims for the year 1991, would you please so indicate in
writing before March 1, 1991.
Thank you for your anticipated attention to this matter.
Sincerely yours,
]/Vc
Richard M.
