<br />RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR CONSTRUCTION OF SW-1 WATERMAIN
<br />EXCLUSIVE OF WELL ABANDONMENT
<br />WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the
<br />construction of the SW-1 Watermain, bids were received, opened, and
<br />tabulated according to law, and the following bids were received
<br />complying with the advertisement:

<br />WHEREAS, it was determined by Washington County, Ramsey County
<br />and the City of Lake Elmo that insufficient information had been
<br />provided to the bidders relating to Abandonment of Water Wells, and
<br />that portion of the bid would be rebid, pursuant to any and all legal
<br />requirements; and
<br />WHEREAS, it appears that Kenko, Inc. is the lowest responsible
<br />bidder for the construction of SW-1 watermain, exclusive of Well
<br />Abandonment.
<br />MN: NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LAKE ELMO,
<br />1. The Mayor and Clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter
<br />into a contract with Kenko, Inc. in the name of the City of Lake Elmo
<br />for the construction of SW-1 Watermain according to the plans and
<br />specifications therfore approved by the City Council and on file in
<br />the office of the City Clerk.
<br />2. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to return
<br />forthwith to all bidders the deposits made with their bids, except
<br />that the deposits of the successful bidder and next lowest bidder
<br />shall be retained until a contract has been signed.
<br />ADOPTED, by the City Council this 4th day of June, 1991.
