(Motion carried 4-0).
2. MINUTES: AUGUST 20, 1991
M/S/P Mottaz/Dick Johnson - to approve the August 20, 1991 City
Council minutes as amended. (Motion carried 4-0).
4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES:
Barry Weeks, 3647 Lake Elmo Avenue N., voiced his concern on the
new septic ordinance. He indicated he knew where his tank was,
but a side walk, steps or deck may have been built over the
manhole because his 201 septic system was put in four years ago.
Since this project was funded by the government, should these
repairs not be funded by them also?
Steve Continenza, 3686 Layton Avenue N., asked why this ordinance
was made retroactive to 1984 and not just for new systems being
installed?
The City will be sending out more information regarding the
reasons for the change in the ordinance.
