F <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 14, 1992 <br />Mayor Johnson called the City Council meeting to order at <br />7:05 P.M. in the city council chambers. Present: Mayor <br />Johnson, Hunt, Dick Johnson, Mottaz (departed 9:05 p.m.), <br />Williams, City Engineer Prew, City Attorney Filla and <br />AdminA trator Kueffner. <br />OLD VILLAGE DRAINFIELD AND STORM WATER UTILITY: <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Hunt - that the staff be instructed to schedule <br />a public hearing on the Surface Water Management Utility <br />Ordinance for Tuesday, May 12th, 1992 including mailing <br />notices to everyone in the City. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Mottaz/Williams - to direct the staff to prepare a <br />proposed Storm Sewer Improvement District Ordinance for <br />Council consideration with the affected area designated by <br />the City Engineer for the next Council meeting (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to postpone consideration on the <br />Surface Water Management Utility until Thursday April 30, <br />1992 at 7:00 p.m. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - that the city staff be directed to <br />draft an ordinance establishing a Sanitary Sewer District <br />for the area designed by the City Engineer (Council <br />suggested bounded by the railroad tracks on the South, <br />Highway 5 on the North, current joint drainfield on the West <br />and Schiltgen's field on the East. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />Councilman Mottaz left the meeting at 9:05 p.m. <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to approve Resolution No. 92-8, <br />ordering a feasibility report for the Old Village Area <br />Drainfield project and set a public hearing for May 5th, <br />1992. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />M/S/P Williams/Hunt - to direct the staff to prepare a new <br />sanitary sewer district ordinance which would require all <br />septic systems within the City be brought up to code. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />The Council adjourned the workshop at 10:10 p.m. <br />
