LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES JANUARY 5, 1993 5 <br />M/S/P Conlin/Johnson - to reappoint Randy Thoreson to the <br />Parks Commission for a three year term and the lst <br />Alternate, Tony Collette, be moved up to a full -voting <br />member for a three year term, and that Judy Blackford be <br />moved up to 1st Alternate and that the City advertise the <br />vacancy. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />L. Appointments to Ramsey/Washington Counties <br />Suburban Cable Communications Commission <br />Dave Garloff has submitted his resignation from the Cable <br />Commission effective December 31, 1992. Karen Wandmacher <br />indicated she would like to be reappointed as the city's <br />citizen representative. Each regular member of the Cable <br />Commission should also have an alternate. <br />M/S/P Johnston/Johnson - to appoint Karen Wandmacher and <br />Rita Conlin as Lake Elmo's Representatives to the <br />Ramsey/Washington Counties Suburban Cable Communications <br />Commission. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/P Johnston/Johnson - to advertise in the city Newsletter <br />for alternates to the cable commission and postpone this <br />item until the January 19th council meeting. (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />M. Appointments to Community Education Advisory Boards <br />I.S.D. 622, 834 and 832. <br />The City has been advised by Nancy Hansen that she would <br />like to continue as the City's representative to School <br />District 834 Community Education Advisory Board. The City <br />does not have a representative to the 622 or 832 Board <br />despite our advertisement in the newsletter and on cable <br />television. <br />M/S/P Johnson/Johnston - to appoint Nancy Hansen to the <br />School District 834 Community Education Advisory Board and <br />direct the staff to advertise in the Newsletter for <br />volunteers to the District 622 and 832 Boards. (Motion <br />carried 5-0). <br />
