Ordinance 8080, Amending Section 1402 of the Lake <br />Elmo Code relating to Dog Licenses <br />The staff proposed a change to the month in which dog <br />licenses are due or renewable. Right now, the code states <br />that they are due in March of each year. All other licenses <br />(contractor, etc) are on the calendar year. <br />M/S/P Johnson/Johnston - to adopt Ordinance 8080, An <br />ordinance amending Section 1402,020 of the 1979 Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code as it relates to the annual licensing date <br />for dogs. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />B. Ordinance 8081, Amending Section 204 of the Lake <br />Elmo Code relating to Planning Commission Meetings <br />At its last meeting, the Planning Commission voted to change <br />on a trial basis, its starting time from 7:30 p.m. to 7:00 <br />p.m. with time limits set for each agenda item. If this <br />change creates a problem, the Commission will make a <br />recommendation that this ordinance be repealed and that it <br />go back to the 7:30 p.m. starting time, but will give it a <br />try for four meetings. <br />M/S/P Johnston/Conlin - to adopt Ordinance 8081, An <br />Ordinance amending Section 204.018 of the 1979 Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code as it relates to the starting time of the <br />regular meetings of the Lake Elmo Planning Commission. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />C. Ordinance 8082, Dangerous Animals <br />M/S/P Johnson/Johnston - to adopt. Ordinance 8082, An <br />Ordinance adding Section 1402.220 and its subdivision <br />relating to dangerous animals to the 1979 Lake Elmo <br />Municipal Code. (Motion carried 4-1: Mottaz: language is <br />too broad for our needs in Lake Elmo --dangerous animals <br />could be dogs, cats, horses, etc.) <br />
