Lake Elmo Municipal Water Supply December 21, 1992
PWSID 1820009
Recommendations:
1. The city of Lake Elmo should consider constructing an additional well to
serve as a standby or emergency water source.
2. The city of Lake Elmo should consider installing permanent chlorination
equipment and maintaining a free chlorine residual of at least 0.2 to
0.6 milligrams per liter on all points of the distribution system.
3. The opportunity for additional training in water supply work should be
made available to the operator(s). Attendance at the annual waterworks
operators seminar, held in the area, is a valuable experience for anyone
engaged in this field.
Bassam H.
