LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />September 7, 1993 <br />Mayor John called the recodification workshop to order at 5:00 p.m. in the city <br />council chambers. PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, and <br />Administrator Kueffner. <br />The Council reviewed Section 200 Administration, Operations and <br />Administration, Pages 200-7 through 200-19. Questions raised: What happens if <br />the Mayor does not sign a resolution or ordinance? What procedures can be <br />taken? Check the legality of Subd. 8 Purchasing: whether the administrator is <br />given more authority as permitted under State law? Check what is in our policy <br />book regarding Subd. 2 Inspectors: Upon council approval, the building official <br />may appoint any number of inspectorsand other employees from time to time. <br />Under Subd. 7 Occupancy Violations, page 200-18 & 19, where did Section 3 <br />come from? <br />There was council consensus on the proposed changes. <br />The council set a recodification workshop for September 21, 1993 from 5:00- <br />7:00 p.m. <br />( Council adjourned the workshop at 7:00 p.m. <br />
