LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MINUTES <br />OCTOBER 2G, 1993 <br />The council received a letter from James Fisher, 8249 Deer Pond Ct N., indicating he <br />( felt the repair was unneeded and the assessment extensive. <br />37th Street (West of Jamaca) <br />Assessable Units: 11 Previous Estimate:$827 Assessment Rate*:$715 <br />*Based on actual construction costs. <br />There was no one to speak for or against the street assessment. <br />Kraft Circle <br />Assessable Units:8 Previous Estimate:$751 Assessment Rate*:$596 <br />*Based on actual construction costs <br />The Council received a letter from Ronald Naatz, 3311 Kraft Circle N., indicating he felt <br />the assessment was extreme and did not call this a $751 improvement. Naatz <br />submitted suggestions to help overcome some problems for the next street project. <br />Langley Court <br />Assessable Units:4 Previous Estimate:$975 Assessment Rate*:$650 <br />*Based on actual construction costs <br />There was no one to speak for or against the street assessment. <br />Legion Avenue (20th Street to Legion Lane) <br />Assessable Units:10.5 Previous Estimate:$1,686 Assessment Rate*:$1,536 <br />*Based on actual construction costs <br />John & Mary Leslie, 11546 20th Street, stated they thought the assessment was too <br />high for the benefit derived and should be given consideration for payment of <br />resurfacing of 20th Street. They cannot access off Legion Avenue because of the <br />terrain. Councilman Johnson responded that he thinks the assessment policy is fair <br />Laverne Avenue (TH5 to 39th) <br />Assessable Units:6 Previous Estimate:$2,413 Assessment Rate*:$1,681 <br />*Based on actual construction costs <br />There was no one to speak for or against the street assessment. <br />Highlands Trail <br />Assessable Units:24 Previous Estimate:$1,488 Assessment Rate*:$940 <br />*Based on actual construction costs <br />There was no one to speak for or against the street assessment <br />
