LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP <br />FEBRUARY 22, 1994 <br />Mayor John called the workshop to order at 6:12 p.m. in the council chambers. <br />PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson (arrived 6:25 p.m.) and <br />City Planner, Steve Schwanke. <br />1. AGENDA <br />Add: Reschedule March 1st city council meeting <br />Reschedule March 1. 1994 City Council meeting_ <br />Minnesota Statute 202A.19, Subdivision 1 states "No ... township board, or city <br />council may conduct a meeting after 6:00 p.m. on the day of a major political <br />party precinct caucus." <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Conlin - because of precinct caucuses scheduled for March 1 st, <br />the city council rescheduled the council meeting to Thursday, March 3, 1994. <br />(Motion carried 4-0). <br />2. MINUTES: January 11, 1994 <br />M/S/C Conlin/John - to approve the January 11, 1994 Recodification Workshop <br />minutes as presented. (Motion carried 4-0). <br />3. Recodification of Lake Elmo Municipal Code <br />The Council requested that the sections of the code that have been reviewed by <br />the council be submitted to the city attorney. <br />Section 520-Site and Building Plan Review: <br />Page 520-3, Plans shall include: iv. wetlands. Schwanke will find the specific <br />dimensions. <br />Page 520-4, Project value for landscaping. Schwanke will check on figures to <br />see if they are up-to-date. <br />Section 525 - Swimming Pools. The following questions arose and Steve <br />Schwanke will check into the answers: <br />Page 525-3. B. Do we have to be concerned about how many feet swimming <br />pools are located from wells? <br />Page 525-4. G. Do we permit swimming pool water into public drainageways? <br />What does Oakland Jr. High School do with their swimming pool water? <br />
