MINUTES APPROVED: 5-17-94 <br />LAKE ELMO CITY COUNCIL MEETING <br />MAY 3, 1994 <br />AS REQUIRED BY STATE LAW, THE STARTING TIME WAS CHANGED <br />BECAUSE OF THE 622 SCHOOL DISTRICT REFERENDUM ELECTION <br />Mayor John called the council meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. in the council <br />chambers. PRESENT: Mottaz, Conlin, John, Johnston, Johnson, City Engineer <br />Bohrer, City Attorney Filla and Administrator Kueffner. <br />1. AGENDA <br />ADD: 7B. Request from School Dist. #834 <br />M/S/C John/Johnston - to approve the May 3, 1994 City Council agenda. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />2. MINUTES: April 19, 1994 <br />M/S/C John/Conlin - to approve the April 19, 1994 city council minutes as <br />amended. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />3. CLAIMS <br />M/S/C Mottaz/Johnston - to table Claim #2627 RLK Assoc. Ltd, until the May 17 <br />meeting so the City Administrator can review charges with the city planner. <br />(Motion carried 5-0). <br />M/S/C Conlin/Johnston - to approve the April 19, 1994 Claims #2616 through <br />#2648 as presented; excluding Claim #2627. (Motion carried 5-0). <br />4. PUBLIC INQUIRIES/PUBLIC INFORMATIONAL: <br />A. Public Inquires <br />Dora Lee, Cimarron Park resident, indicated the Park will not be having a <br />cleanup day; therefore, Cimarron residents will be forced to use Lake Elmo <br />Clean-up Day. She voiced her concern if the city was prepared with dumpsters <br />to handle these additional residents. <br />B. Invitation to D.A.R.E. Graduation at Lake Elmo Elementary School <br />Deputies Osterman and Peterson and Sergeant Swanson appeared before the <br />council to extend a personal invitation to the Council and the public to attend the <br />D.A.R.E. graduation on May 20 at 12 o'clock at the Lake Elmo Elementary <br />School. <br />
