Traffic Congestion/Safety Issues
Concerning a rezone and expansion of the Lake Elmo Inn, we
would appreciate the Councils attention to existing parking
congestion on Upper 33rd Street North. specifically, the area
between the Lake Elmo Inn and the Lake Elmo Feed Mill where
random parking and freight unloading too often cause street
blockage. With 26 additional parking spaces required for the
proposed expansion of the Lake Elmo Inn, this problem will only
worsen unless_it is corrected now
We strongly feel that this issue can be resolved by mutual co-
operation by the owners and residents on Upper 33rd St, North.
Some suggestions:
1) Signs posted on the Lake Elmo Feed Mill Building
indicating:
a) No parking during Feed Mill Business hours
( specify hours)
b) Non -business hours parallel parking only
c) Signs posted on Feed Mill property ( East of
Feed Mill loading dock) indicating no
parking during Feed Mill hours.
( specify hours)
Your co-operation would be appreciated.
Sincerely_
Bruce and Susan Dunn
AJ
